Destiny 2 brings back the popular King's Fall campaign
|
Bungie has revealed that they will be bringing back one of their most popular campaigns in Destiny 2, as King's Fall makes a dramatic return. Those who have played Raid before know the excitement, danger and loss as you enter the Hive Dreadnought to face Oryx, the Taken King. The campaign officially launched today and is live for anyone with the updated version of the game. You can read more about the campaign below and watch the latest trailer to show what this version of the experience will look like.
Expeditions are an integral part of Destiny 2, enabling high-level six-person gear. All over the world, Fireteam is training for a chance to win the world number one title and belt. Those looking to watch the first Kings Fall World Race can cheer on the team and celebrate the first fireteam crossing the line. Fire crews should keep the following in mind when tackling the first King's Fall World Race:
- Campaign will start by enabling competition mode for 24 hours.
- Guardians must have 1560 power to stay within range in all encounters.
- The first step to accessing the new Director Challenge Mode and Secret Triumph is to complete missions with Competition Mode enabled.
- Secret Triumphs (a curated list of challenges in this newly unlocked challenge mode) will be achieved when a fireteam crosses the finish line first in the world and claims their reward.
- To enforce the win requirement in Challenge mode, if a team fails to meet the success criteria during a match, they will be eliminated.
- Note: To reduce stress on our servers, there will be no donations or weapon crafting progress during the first weekend of Fall of the King.
